Frequently Asked Questions

HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN PLAY AT ONCE?

Zero Latency VR: Min of 1 player, Max of 8 players. For larger groups, you will need to book back-to-back sessions. Unless all 8 spaces are booked, players may be joining others in the same session time.

vrCAVE Escape Rooms: Min of 2 players, Max of 5 per room. Private game space per booking.

Hero Zone VR: Min of 2 players, Max of 4 per room. Private game space per booking.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

Our experiences are active. We recommend you wear light, comfortable clothes and appropriate footwear (ie. no high heels allowed on the Zero Latency arena).

CAN I WEAR MY GLASSES?

You can wear glasses if they do not have a large frame. We recommend wearing contact lenses for the experience, as our headsets will not fit large frames due to limited space between the eyes and VR lenses.

WHAT AGE CAN PLAY?

Zero Latency VR: requires all players to be 10+ years to play. We recommend anyone between 10-12 plays with a supervising adult. Please note some games do have recommended ages and this is easy to find on our booking page. Any children under 18 must also have a signed waiver by a guardian, which can be completed on arrival. Players must be at least 130cm.

vrCAVE Escape Rooms and Hero Zone VR: require players to be 8+ years to play. There are no height minimums.

WHO CAN AND CAN’T PLAY?

Players under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be allowed to play. You will not receive a refund or credit.

You will need to be able to walk around, unassisted for an hour with full use of both hands. People with vision in one eye are able to play.

For safety reasons anyone with the following impairment/medical conditions are not able to play:

  • Epilepsy and similar seizure disorders.

  • Deaf or severe hearing loss.

  • Broken leg or arm.

  • Wheelchair users.

Our experiences are not recommended for anyone with the following impairment/medical conditions:

  • Heart condition.

  • Pregnant - we don’t recommend women in their second or third trimester playing due to their center of balance changing dramatically. It is a risk to your safety. Please call for any clarification.

CAN THIS EXPERIENCE CAUSE MOTION SICKNESS?

Every part of the system is designed to give you an immersive experience without any of the motion sickness typically associated with virtual reality systems.

Since changing our headsets in November 2016, only 0.02% of our players have pulled out due to motion sickness.

WILL I WALK INTO A WALL?

We have in-game safety mechanisms and a Game Master to stop that happening. You will be provided with a briefing prior to playing to advise you on how to enjoy your game safely. It is up to you to pay attention and follow all instructions. You can see the walls in our game, as well as each player and their Avatar.
